About

Food & Body

I am passionate about inspiring people to transform their relationship with food and their body, to care for themselves and to worry less.

Utilising kindness and compassion I support people to explore new approaches to self-manage and develop the change they desire. This is a therapeutic approach to food and movement; creating a vehicle for healing.

Clare Sullivan

My work has always had food and the body as its centre. I have had a wide range of influences throughout my career that have led me to the path I now walk. These have included: a childhood interest in cooking offering a recognition of the social connections food offers; the opportunity to study, to travel and to live overseas and experience different lives; personal trauma and the multiple layers of learning this brought; the exploration and study of numerous ways practices, principles and philosophies — mindful eating, intuitive eating, health at every size, western scientific nutrition, co-active coaching, neuroscience, self compassion practice, mindfulness, yoga, the ancient yoga philosophies and Ayurveda.

I combine all this, the experience and the more formal education to support people create the change they want around food, movement and lifestyle practices.

My work is individual 1:1 sessions or in small groups with a focus on — Building Better Bones, Mindful Eating, and Yoga.

As a Holistic Dietitian and Ayurveda Consultant I support people with motivation and guidance to acquire a new way of eating. This can be related to:

  • enquiry around what is healthy eating and the anxiety around food choices;

  • managing issues that trigger overeating and binge eating;

  • finding non food strategies to manage emotional or stress eating.

    Yoga Therapy may be independent of, or in conjunction with food and nutrition to support Well-Being.

    I blend a variety of practices to help people find ways to manage a variety of conditions and health challenges by reducing symptoms, restoring balance and increasing vitality within your body and mind.

    This is a sustainable approach bringing awareness to movement and food practices; ‘food without rules’ and and ease and comfortable within the body and mind.

“Through courage, compassion and curiosity you make positive lifestyle choices for Well-Being.”
